MARION, Ill. (KFVS) - The inaugural Thanksgiving Throwdown Demolition Derby is set for Saturday, November 29 in Marion, Illinois.
According to a news release from Top Notch Promotions, the demolition derby and a pre-party will be at the Williamson County Fairgrounds.
The pre-party will be Friday with the demolition derby set for Saturday.
It will feature multiple competitive demolition derby classes, including:
- Youth Mini Cars
- Powder Puff
- WeldFull Size
- YouthFull Size
- Smashgiving Showdown
- Mini Weld Compacts
- Full Size Stock Class
- FWD Mini Vans/SUVs
- Street Stock Compacts
Organizers say drivers from across the region are expected to participate.
