According to PCM, the theme is a nod to its efforts to fund and develop a new 50-bed emergency overnight shelter in Paducah, as well as renovate and repurpose its food pantry.
“The Interfaith Thanksgiving Service provides a time for area faith communities to come together during this season to give thanks, learn more about each other, and open hearts and minds to how we can work together with vision and singular purpose to help people around us in need,” said Lacy Boling, PCM executive director. “It’s a special evening of oneness and purposeful reflection that focuses on the ongoing challenges of those facing daily hunger and lack of housing. These are challenges that are not going away and challenges that transcend spiritual beliefs.”
St. Thomas More Catholic Church is located at 5645 Blandville Road in Paducah.
