Ticket prices range from $30 to $48.
Director Jen Perez said the story is digestible for any age.
“The play is about a couple that are cleaning out their attic, as the show is called, and they find a letter that leads to another couple’s story, and so they kind of go through the way of trying to figure out what that letter means to everybody within the show,” Perez said.
Actor Liz Haynes said the play is set in two different time periods. Months of work have gone into bringing it to life.
“I know for me, it’s a creative outlet, it’s so much fun,” Haynes said. “We love, as performers, being up there on that stage, and being able to bring a range of emotions to the audience members is just such a special feeling.”

Matt Antill said community theater contributes to the variety of activities to choose from in an area.
“I hear so many people who say, ‘Oh, it’s a small town, there’s not as much to do.’ Well, this is something different,” Antill said. “It’s something different to do, to break up the monotony of your day-to-day existence and life, something that really can bring some enrichment and fulfillment into anybody’s life.”
River City Players’ next project is “Yard Sale,” a comedy by Michael Paul.
Open auditions are set for 2 p.m. Sunday, December 14 at Port Cape.
Auditions consist of a cold read with the group, followed by casting.
