In 2024, Chris Elfrink said the inaugural event drew crowds of more than 500 on the first day.
“We totaled out to be a little over 650 people. It was great, it was absolutely great.”
Elfrink said part of the goal of Heartland Gaming Con is to help gamers in the area make friends and build a community.
