Ribbon cutting to be held for new Indian restaurant in Carbondale

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) - A grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Thursday, officially welcoming a new Indian restaurant to Carbondale.

According to the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce, Tandoor & Tadka brings authentic flavors and a unique culinary experience to the area.

The event will take place on September 25 at 11 a.m. at 715 N. Giant City Road. It is open to the public.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet the owners and enjoy a taste of Tandoor & Tadka’s Indian cuisine.

“We chose Carbondale because of the strong student population and the community’s desire to eat good Indian food,” said owner Navi Lubana. “We wanted to share our culture and diversity through our hospitality and good food.”
