Corpse flower completes bloom at Missouri Botanical Garden

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) - A corpse flower has been returned to the greenhouses at the Missouri Botanical Garden after collapsing and completing her bloom.

A corpse flower called Luna bloomed earlier this month. The plant is known for its unpleasant smell. Luna was the 12th corpse flower to bloom at the garden.

On Monday, the Missouri Botanical Garden announced Luna had completed her bloom. The plant will soon go dormant.
