Kick off this spooky season and watch Hocus Pocus next to a cemetery

“Another glorious morning. It makes me sick!” — Winifred Sanderson, Hocus Pocus

Winifred, Sarah and Mary are back at a showing of Hocus Pocus in Missouri Park by Old Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Start your spooky season off right with the Sanderson sisters as they make their way back to Salem.

I’m in but when?

If watching the show near a cemetery isn’t spooky enough, you’ll be watching it at night!

The movie starts at 7 p.m.

Bring a blanket, lawn chairs and some popcorn to settle in on Sunday, Oct. 7.

Follow Sarah to the land of enchantment!

The event is hosted by Continuing Education at Southeast Missouri State University.

You might even meet a few creepy characters among the tombstones.

Check out the Facebook page here.

Fly over on your broom, or your vacuum if that’s more your style, and watch this cult classic under the stars!

And, if you can’t make it (or are too creeped out), you can catch the movie in theaters for the film’s 25 year anniversary.
