There you can hike to the tallest point in the state of Missouri, channel your inner circus animal, or cool off in a "natural water park."

Here are three places the entire family can enjoy:

Elephant Rocks State Park

Channel your inner circus elephant at Elephant Rocks State Park. Here, giant granite boulders stand end-to-end, like a train of circus elephants. The interesting formations fascinate all ages. The Braille Trail, designed for those with disabilities, will lead you through the park.

Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park
