The new place will be called Mary Jane bourbon + smokehouse.
Renovations at the new location near Houck Stadium are well underway.

Here’s the latest scoop: you’ll soon be able to enjoy a sweet treat at Cape Girardeau’s first full-service rolled ice cream shop.
Buddy’s Rolled Ice Cream will make its home on Broadway.
The owners hope to open the doors in Fall 2018.
Construction on Skate Cape! began on Sept. 19.
The skate park has been in the works for several years and is funded by the city and several donors.
Park Division Manager Brock Davis said they hope to the have the skate park open by Thanksgiving.
Capaha Park Splash Pad
Crews with Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation have started working on a new splash pad and an upgraded pavilion at Capaha Park.
The estimated completion date is late spring 2019.
It’s all part of the Parks, Recreation and Stormwater Tax Renewal initiative passed by voters in April 2018.
We are also working to confirm that another donut shop will be setting up in Cape Girardeau.
According to the City of Cape Girardeau Municipal Government's Facebook, Donut Palace is coming soon.
Alex McElroy, the Director of Development for the City of Cape Girardeau, the business will be operating at 1741 North Kingshighway.
