Things you’ll need to make pizza on the grill

  • a grill capable of reaching 600°
  • cake ring
  • pizza stone
  • pizza peel (optional)

Start by putting the cake ring on the grill and then set your pizza stone on top of it.

You’ll want to let the pizza stone heat up to 600°.

While the grill and the pizza stone are heating up, go inside and assemble your pizza.

For the ease of getting your pizza on the stone, we recommend assembling your pie on a pizza peel.

Expert tip: sprinkle a little cornmeal on the peel first to keep the dough from sticking.

It will also make getting the pizza from the peel to the stone a lot easier.

Once you’ve put all your favorite toppings on, put your masterpiece on the pizza stone.

It will only need to cook about 6-8 minutes.

It’s done when the bottom of the dough starts to turn brown.

Also, don’t be afraid to rotate the pizza about halfway through cooking.
