Music at the Marquette

The sound of music is set to fill the historic Marquette Tower in Cape Girardeau this Friday. It’s all a part of a new series hosted by Baristas Coffee Bar called Music at the Marquette. You’re invited to the lobby from 6 to 8 p.m. to hear Olivia Sykes perform live and enjoy a complimentary sample of different latte flavors.

PAW Patrol Live!

Calling all kiddos! This Heartland Weekend the Great Adventure Bay Race between Adventure Bay’s Mayor Goodway and Foggy Bottom’s Mayor Humdinger will take over the Show Me Center. But Mayor Goodway is nowhere to be found! Good news: PAW Patrol will Race to the Rescue! See the group of six rescue dogs, led by Ryder, on their next adventure LIVE. You have four chances to see the team rescue Mayor Goodway. Tickets are still available. CLICK HERE to get yours.

Show Me Center, Cape Girardeau

AutumnFest Arts and Crafts Show

Craft enthusiasts you’re going to want to head to John A. Logan College this Heartland Weekend. The AutumnFest Arts and Crafts Show returns for the 43rd year. You’ll find handcrafted arts, crafts, and specialty foods at the annual juried event. With more than 150 booths, the arts and crafts show is one of the biggest in southern Illinois. It takes over the college for two full days.


Saturday, Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Taste of the Holidays

Get into the spirit of the holidays along the Mississippi River Hills Wine Trail. This Saturday three southeast Missouri wineries will pair their local wines with a unique meal in an event they are calling Taste of the Holidays. Apple Creek Vineyard and Winery, Hemman Winery and The Barrens Winery will each feature a special tasting from 12 to 6 p.m. CLICK HERE to get your tickets.

In Concert: Narvel Felts

Be there as Narvel Felts takes the stage to perform all of his greatest hits! Come sing along to “Reconsider Me,” “Lonely Teardrops,” “Funny How Time Slips Away,” and more! Isle Casino Cape Girardeau

The Founder's Collection

The Cape Girardeau County History Center has unveiled one of its most important collections: The Founder’s Collection. It features artifacts from the descendants of Cape Girardeau’s founding families. The state-of-the-art History center also features several other rotating regional history exhibits. Even better: admission is free. The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
